School Policies


REGISTRATION

Registration must be completed in person.  Class/Camp fees may be paid by cash, check, or cred/debt card. Students are registered upon receipt of registration form and payment in full. Payment plans may be arranged through the office if necessary.

CLASS/CAMP SIZES

Students are in age appropriate groups within their class or camp. Group sizes for class are approx.15-20 for class and 20-25 for summer camp, with adequate faculty coverage for larger groups to ensure that all students receive individual attention.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

For your child’s safety, please come into the building to bring your child to class and to pick up your child at the end of class. Student’s participating in camps, must be dropped off no later than 9 AM to ensure we remain on schedule. Parents will be assessed a late fee if students are picked up more than 10 minutes after a class ends. If an emergency arises, please call 256-970-8190.

LUNCH/SNACKS FOR CAMP

Burwell’s Martial Arts will provide snacks in the morning and afternoon each day. Lunch will be provided on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. Students are responsible for bringing lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. We are a peanut free environment so all lunches and snacks must be peanut free.

RETURNED CHECKS

There will be a $30 fee for any checks returned by the bank.

CLASS MAKE-UP

If a student misses their scheduled time class they are allowed to make-up that class on the same day at a different time or on another day during that same week.

DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR

Burwell’s Martial Arts strives to make all classes and camp fun for everyone. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove a student from activities permanently due to inappropriate or disruptive behavior with no refund granted.
